Industrial buildings often bear the unfortunate stigma of being eyesores, typically relegated to the outskirts and disguised to blend into their surroundings. However, given the unique setting of our project—nestled between a bustling highway and a quaint village—we recognized the need for a different approach.
Our objective was twofold: to craft a striking visual landmark visible from afar, while also fostering a serene and spacious environment for the workers within. To achieve this, we consolidated all functions into a single expansive structure, laid out horizontally. Deliberate attention was paid to lighting and height specifications, particularly along the facade facing the highway, to create an engaging presence from a distance.
These deliberate design choices culminate in a clean and efficient building that not only serves its intended purpose with precision but also contributes to the town's identity, offering a refreshing departure from the typical industrial aesthetic.
