At the busiest junction of the central campus, the university wants to create a meeting point for students and non-students alike.
We propose a massive noise mirror to protect the parc behind from the pollution and create a great plaza for the flaneurs and the people watcher.

The building is a result of the maximum buildable footprint and the intersaction of the natural terrain lines.

A massive wall of rammed earth functions not only as a sound barrier and conveys identity but also serves also as an energy storage for hot summer and cold winter days.
The main space is half sunken in the terrain, the views from inside are intimate and close to the parc.
The light timber construction has a dynamic roof shape which resulats out of the curve.
